MA EMS REGION III
As one of five EMS Regional Councils designated by the Department of Public Health, Office of Emergency Medical Services, MA EMS Region III is comprised of 49 cities and towns; 12 acute care hospitals, five of which are designated Level III trauma centers, and 47 ambulance services that provide basic and advanced prehospital care to the more than 1,250,000 people who reside in Region III.
